About Spray Social
Spray Social is the sovereign European social network, designed and built in France by an independent developer. Built solo in roughly 11 months from Asnières-sur-Seine, it is already available on iOS and Android.
Our mission
To provide a concrete, already-live alternative to American (Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok) and Chinese social networks. A platform where user data stays in Europe, advertising does not dictate content, and governance is democratic.
The origin of the project
Faced with the concentration of digital power in the hands of a few American and Chinese giants, Spray Social was born from a conviction: Europe needs its own digital tools. Not theoretical projects announced at Davos, but concrete platforms, already online, that anyone can use today.

A sovereign infrastructure
The entire infrastructure is hosted on OVHcloud, Europe’s leading cloud provider. Servers in France (Gravelines) and Italy. Database, media storage, artificial intelligence (Mistral): everything is European. No data passes through the United States.
Why Spray Social over existing alternatives?
Mastodon is decentralized but complex for the general public. Bluesky remains subject to American pressures. W, announced at Davos in January 2026, is still not available. Spray Social is already online, on iOS and Android, with a complete experience including messaging, communities, gamification, and four thematic universes.
